Nice to get a tradesman who takes a pride in his work.

Was quoted 3 days to do job needed money up front then mucked about for 3 week doing 2hrs here and there very poor standards ,I had to show him where the match on the wallpaper, patched paper here and there all painting and emulsion was single coated missing places which I will have to put right, so I would NOT recommend him to anyone just after cash poorest tradesman I have had in my life mess left everywhere.

James contacted me within the hour, offered me a quick turnaround to paint my one bedroom council flat during the Xmas and NY period at the average cost. Half way through, he noticed one of the rooms had a problem with smoke stains from a previous tenant on the ceiling, so he gave me the option to pay an extra £200 to fix this, which we decided to do. He finished earlier than planned. The next day checking the job, I reported a couple of issues with the ceiling, smoke stains still visible, and a patch of peeling. I sent pictures of these, he agreed to come back and fix it, so I paid the amount in full. Unfortunately, James did not come back to fix his work. The work was satisfactory, completely transformed the flat, but it's been really disappointing he didn't come back. Especially since we paid the extra £200 for the ceiling. Since then, I've noticed a few things, like bluetack left under paint on a door, and a few noticeable bits where the paint has run on the windowsills.

No sooner had I posted the ad, I had James enquiring about the job. I wanted someone to come in quickly and fix a botched job by a couple of cowboy painters who let me down big time and whom I had to tell where to go halfway through the job. James came out promptly, quoted me for the work and was able to start within a couple of days. He managed to fit me in in between existing jobs in the city and the final result was excellent. He righted a lot of wrongs and his workmanship was of the highest quality. I wouldn’t hesitate in hiring him again or recommending him to others.

Arrived when said he would, did everything he was asked to do and I'm really pleased with result. 😊

James and his team werw hard working, polite, friendly and all in all it was a pleasant experience and well worth the money paid for the job. It was done quickly and very well.

James arrive on time, immediately started working, carrying on the painting and wallpapering. He was very friendly and professional. I was very happy with the quality of the work he did.

Turned up on time. Excellent job painting fence, double coated, plus hut, very professional. Continued working the whole time with hardly any break. I would highly recommend this painter.
